Virtual Community Library. To create a central site where critical dialogue about the community is compiled, archived and disseminated. Everyday, in a variety of settings, authentic, thoughtful information is presented but goes unnoticed to the community at large – through sermons, lectures, civic club speeches, non-profit informational meetings, etc. This grant will help create a Virtual Community Library to aggregate and archive the data. The library will be a place for deep exploration to increase shared understanding of critical issues.
Grants: 1) Virtual Community Library, $50,000 beginning in 2009 with a KCI matching grant 2) Center for Public Integrity, $51,000 2006-09″
