What else should people know about your site:

I started this blog as a professional journalist. It was a way to talk about the stories I wanted to talk about. Once the Houston media pretty much cut local media coverage, I picked it up. It's a hobby blog on a blogger.com account that had more than 30,000 unique readers and 40,000 pageviews in Jun 2011. Not bad.

What are your suggestions and/or links to other community news sites that should be added to the directory?
